For Business Central customers

Describe the need. See the design before the build.

Tell us what your team needs in plain words. We write it down, show you a storyboard, and build nothing until you approve the design.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • Which of your team's needs are still waiting for someone to build them? A stop on an order, a second approval, a reminder every night.
  • Would you rather see the new way of working before you pay for the build?
  • Do you need to know the technical words to ask for it?

How it works for you

  1. 01

    Describe it

Use a short wizard with examples, or talk it through with the requirements assistant. It proposes a solution in plain steps first and asks only what it must.

  2. 02

    Read and approve the requirements

We write your needs down as a requirements document. You read it, correct it and approve it.

  3. 03

    We check standard first

We research how standard Business Central already handles your need.

  4. 04

    Review the storyboard

Illustrated scenes with an illustrative screen preview show who does what and the benefit. Click any scene to comment. Each round gives a new version. Nothing is built until you approve one.

  5. 05

    Accept a quote

You see the price breakdown in plain words. You pay 50 % to start the build and 50 % before installation.

  6. 06

    Build, test, review

We build to our written coding standards, test against the acceptance criteria in your approved design, and a separate AI reviewer that did not write it checks the work.

  7. 07

    Sandbox first

We install it in your sandbox, a safe copy of your system, where you test it. Production follows only after you accept.

What you receive

  • A requirements document to read, correct and approve.
  • A storyboard of the new way of working.
  • A functional document in plain language, step by step.
  • An HTML5 training manual with screen previews.
  • A licence to use the extension in the environments you name. Business Dynamics Pro keeps the intellectual property. Source code can be bought after delivery, under a separate licence.
  • For 30 days after installation we fix anything that does not match the design you approved. Our total responsibility never exceeds what you paid for that extension.

Objections and answers

  • Can I trust code that AI wrote?

AppoGen uses AI for research, design, building and testing. The extension is built to written standards, tested against the acceptance criteria in your approved design, and reviewed by a separate AI reviewer that did not write it. You also test it in your sandbox before production. We do not promise bug-free software.

  • How much will it cost?

The build price comes from the size of the approved design. Simple extensions usually cost USD 2,000 to 5,000, standard ones USD 5,000 to 12,000 and advanced ones USD 12,000 to 20,000. Above USD 20,000 we prepare a custom quote. You pay nothing for the build until you have seen the design and accepted a quote. The subscription is separate, from USD 49 a month.

  • What if I do not like the design?

Comment on any scene. Each round gives a new version. Nothing is built until you approve one.

  • Who owns the code?

Business Dynamics Pro keeps the intellectual property. You receive a licence to use the extension in the environments you name.

Questions

Do I need technical knowledge?

No AL coding is needed from your team. You describe the need in plain words. You do still answer questions and approve the design. Your administrator does a one-time set-up.

How long will it take?

It depends on the size of the extension and how many review rounds you need. We give no turnaround time.

What if my needs change after I approve?

That is a change request. We design it with you and price only the difference. Change requests fall within your plan's allowance.

Is my data safe?

We design and test with the CRONUS sample company, never your live records. Do not paste passwords or personal data into a request. The companies that process this information and how long we keep it are listed on our privacy page.

Can I see an example?

The sample storyboard is an illustration. Every name, customer and amount in it is made up.

What happens after the warranty?

You can request changes priced on their size, or take a support plan: Essential (1.25 % of the build price a month, at least USD 49), Standard (1.75 % of the build price a month, at least USD 99) and Priority (2.5 % of the build price a month, at least USD 249).
